In memory of the DD McNeill crew of 415 Swordfish Squadron (flying Halifax III) based at Eastmoor, Yorkshire, England from August-December 1944 and my father who was the navigator during the crew's 31 missions. Two members of the crew are still alive and I remain in contact with F/O McNeill, DFC who was only 20 yrs old when he returned home after the war in Spring 1945. Without his pilot skill, I wouldn't be here!!!

WOW, DOUG, you are the man! Thanks ever so much for this great donation as you take us over the top of the magic $1000 now. Over 2/3 (66%) of all the bombing missions done by the RCAF in WW2 were done on the Halifax bomber so if you had to pick the most significant bomber in our RCAF combat history you know which type it would be. My gesture of thanks to you and your donation in honour of your father and his crew, his combat brothers, is the photo of your Dad's crew standing beside Halifax MZ946 of 415 Swordfish squadron.
