In June 2017, pupils from three Sutherland schools will walk from Golspie on the east coast to Kinlochbervie on the west coast, a distance of over 100 kilometres. They need your support! More

Coast to Coast

In 2015 a group of walkers led by Patrick Marriott, a semi retired Major General in the Army, made a trek from Brora on the East Coast of Scotland to Kylesku on the West, raising money for armed forces charities. It was decided that the expedition would be repeated in 2017, but this time invloving pupils from the three local Secondary Schools; Golspie, Dornoch and Kinlochbervie.

Sutherland Schools

The 2017 expedition is a truly joint venture between three Sutherland Secondary Schools. The aim is to develop leadership in pupils in the planning, training and execution of the walk. Supported by a large and experienced network of adults, pupils will work together to form the team that will cross the country in June. The difference they hope to make to their charities is huge. The difference they make to themselves will last a lifetime.
