CMC Workforce: Harlem Classroom

Every day men and women re-enter the workforce with no direction towards building a better life for themselves and their children. Our Apprenticeship Training teaches skills to not only enter the workforce, but to advance.

NYC is experiencing a construction boom RIGHT NOW, one that would typically have no benefit for the lower or middle class. CMC's Apprenticeship program allows these men and women to leverage this construction boom, as they enter and advance in the world of construction.

Now is the time when skilled workers are in demand! Construction jobs are expected to increase by 40% in NYC the coming years. Help us make sure these men and women are not left out.

We are excited to have a new location in East Harlem and need to outfit it with tools, equipment and supplies.

Contribute towards purchasing the tools, equipment and material needed to train men and women re-entering the workforce.

Help us leverage the construction boom in the city and create a middle class of men and women re-entering the workforce.

CMC Workforce strives to enable nontraditional and economically disadvantaged individuals to enter and advance in the construction industry via CMC’s unique focused Certified Apprenticeship Programs.

While we welcome all qualified applicants seeking to be trained for jobs in construction with NYC, what makes us unique is that we focus on providing Apprenticeship Training for people’s re-entering society, including:

  • Homeless persons
  • Previously incarcerated persons
  • Non traditional learners
  • Under served Populations
  • Veterans

Invest and provide tools for a stable future and make our communities stronger and healthier.
