Shiloh and Thunder both have Equine Recurrent Uveitis.  This is a very painful disease where the pupil of the eye spasms and causes pain and inflammation.  

You can see in the picture how swollen and painful it is.  The eye itself has atropied to the point that he has no vision left in it, just pain.  There is no cure, we have managed the pain and symptoms for the last few months but it has not gotten better.  Shiloh is functionally blind in both eyes.  

Thunder just came to us recently but his eye has also atrophied and he has no vision in it.  It is also swollen and painful.  We believe that Thunder's started from blunt force trauma. 

VA Tech Vet School has agreed to do the surgery to remove both of their eyes so that they can live pain free.  They are giving us a reduced rate but we still need to raise $1000 to pay for the surgery and transport expenses.  

To add to that cost,  Max and Traveller are getting gelded this week and we would like to raise the funds to pay for their surgery as well.
