ChallengeUS is founded on the belief that youth as a group and competition as a medium are the engines that drive progress. The world lacks no shortage of problems in need of solutions, from economic inequality to warfare to corruption to education inaccessibility to climate change and more. We fundamentally believe the most effective and sustainable way to solve problems is through empowering problem solvers. We are confident that in activating and elevating the voices of the next generation of future leaders, ChallengeUS can serve as, not just a platform for student leaders and their innovative ideas and perspectives, but as a model for how to critically engage young people with global challenges.
Our mission:
- Activate and elevate student voices on critical world issues, thereby effectively crowdsourcing fresh perspectives and ideas from the next generation of leaders.
- Provide students with competitive yet educational opportunities to demonstrate their skills and ideas across a wide range of disciplines.
- Spotlight and support exceptional students through scholarship prizes, awards, and recognition.
What we do:
We intend to host biannual competitions for high school and college students across the globe. While we’ll start with two divisions — writing and speech — we plan to expand to encompass STEM, business, and the arts. Through these contests, we hope to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to support future leaders in their academic and professional journeys with our scholarship prizes.
How will your contributions help?
- Your donations will fund the scholarship prizes we award to students. Our goal is to start with $500 scholarships, which we hope to grow to thousands of dollars in future contest cycles.
- Your donations will support our outreach channels and tools, allowing us to maximize our reach and bring our opportunities to as many students as possible.
- Your donations will support our operating costs, including administrative burdens, branding, and technology.
