The Carl Correns Foundation is a tax-exempt charity, a new enterprise of active working scientists making a difference in medicine by building better software and exploring theoretical models with mathematical tools. There is too little funding of this complex interdisciplinary work. Most of us are former postdocs at Stanford, or professors of mathematics or computer science.

This campaign is about building a database on the effects of carcinogens (toxins) on individual cells and how this interacts with genetic causes of cancer. The data need to be extracted from other databases and combined into a new dataset. Once this has been done, the result will be shared with the public.

Later we can build models of cancer progression on this, and use the results for personalized, precision medicine.

Help by donating even a small amount of money. Our goal is $5000 and we believe we can do it in 8 weeks or so, combining different crowdfunding sites. Every $50 bring us closer to success of our first campaign!
