Our current single lane net is over 30 years old & doesn't meet the requirements or demands of our expanding club. We have 150+ juniors (boys & girls) who attend Friday evening training & having to share the net around each age group, means that the children don't get enough use of this vital coaching aid. We also have an expanding adult section, of which we now have 3 x Open Age (mew name for men's cricket) & 2 x Women's teams, so this will also help us meet this growth in attendance.
The solution to this problem is to implement a net 3-Lane net with state of the art features, that will not only allow more of our juniors to use the net at the same time, but will equip our coaching team with the tools to deliver a great experience which will improve the chances of that player learning more about the game/themselves & give them more opportunities to have a career in cricket (player or workforce).
This new 3-Lane net will help us cope with these capacity demands & allow every player, young & older, the best chance to make cricket their game.
