Sitting Volleyball is the Paralympic Version of Volleyball and is a fast paced and dynamic sport for physically impaired athletes.

ParaVolley South Africa is the NGO which promotes and supports the development of this fantastic sport in South Africa, where many disability sports are still in early stages of development. Sitting Volleyball is expanding quickly in South Africa with new clubs and players joining the sport.

The sport encourages integration at community levels, provides purpose for individuals and opportunity for physical development and competition at high level.

The South African Men's Sitting Volleyball team will be representing its country at the African Sitting Volleyball Championships in September 2019. The event is held in Kigali Rwanda this year where African countries will compete for a single place at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

We want to send 9 players to this amazing competition and need to cover the costs for flights, accommodation, food, training kit and entry fee for participating in this event. We have already managed to raise over 66% of the total cost.
