Despite low literacy levels in Cambodia the need for tech literacy is very much in demand. As the first Cambodian Education Manager at JWOC I have seen first hand how JWOC has provided students from low-income family the access to basic knowledge of technology such as using Microsoft Office, safely using the internet, as well as using learning apps. We also believe that parents should and can play an important role by encouraging their children to use smartphones for education rather than just for games or entertainment. 

Therefore, I will be leading the Free Classes team this year to form the first parents Tech-meeting event which will guide parents as they use educational apps that can help their children improve their learning levels. Mathematics and Science apps will be introduced to parents so they are able to support their children learning process in their homes.
