Kids Restart Inc. is having our Annual Gala, “An Evening on the Porch” on Friday October 24, 2014 at the home of Mary and Jimmy Anderson on Johns Road in Augusta. On the menu is food sponsored by Jennifer Shuford of “Tastefully Yours” and a full bar. We will also have a Raffle Auction with many different kinds of items as well as live entertainment.
This gala is our major fundraising events of the year. Kids Restart offers many different services to families in crisis. This includes a supervised Visitation Program, In Home Services and a Teen Pregnancy Program. All proceeds from this event are used to support our Visitation Program and our day to day operations. The purpose of the Visitation Program is to provide a safe and secure environment where children who are in foster care or shelters can have state required visits with their parents under the supervision of our trained and caring staff.
It is truly a dark time when children are separated from their parents, even under the best of circumstances. Kids Restart Inc. tries to shine a little light on these children by providing safe and secure visitation. During visitation time a family engages in structured activities designed to strengthen child-parent bonds and develop positive parental skills. With your help, Kids Restart will continue to serve these children and their families in an effort to stop the cycle of abuse and neglect. You can make a difference!
