We are Hessle First and we need your help.
Hessle first is a non-for-profit organisation comprising of representatives of businesses and organisations in Hessle coming together to share best practise, to learn from each other and to develop the economic viability and quality of life for the Hessle population and community as a whole. Hessle First is run by volunteers who are passionate about Hessle and the future of the area. Currently our funds are raised through donations and events, such as Hessle feast, and monies are used to support local projects, more events and generally promoting Hessle. We are proposing to start a regular market in Hessle square in order to encourage more visitors; not just to the stalls but to all of the businesses and amenities locally. With the addition of 18-20 stalls we aimed to make Hessle more appealing to visitors and residents and ensure the area flourishes both as an economy and a place of interest.
We have a grant in place to buy most of what we need to start the market up but we are looking for another £1000 for extra stalls, insurance costs, licensing and storage. Every donation will help and be greatly appreciated no matter how small however if you are someone looking to invest further in to the Market please contact us at hesslefirst@gmail.com.
We truly believe this market sets the mark for a new beginning in Hessle. This year we've seen many new businesses coming in to the town and this can only help regenerate us further.
