My name is Jason Hunt, better known in the pool world as "Buffalo".

My brother Stephen and I own the largest, oldest poolhall in Reno Nevada www.BSCbilliards.Com

We have just been given, out of nowhere, a 60 day notice to vacate the premises because the landlord is replacing our business with a fast food restaurant that he can charge more rent from.

The date of our "must vacate by" is November 16th.

As you might imagine this is a huge blow to us and we do not have the money it would take to move all our 14 pooltables, our bar equipment, furniture and amenities we own inside our current location to a new location, plus pay the first months, last months, and security deposit it would take to get us into a new place, plus build a bar that we would need to set up in order to serve our liquor.

We are the only TRUE poolhall in Reno and this location has been here for 16 years.

It has been a staple in the Reno community ever since then, but obviously the landlord cares nothing about that...just about making more money, no matter what the repercussions are to our family (which we put up over 100 grand a little over 2 years ago to purchase the business and renovate it to its current 5 star condition), or to the Reno community which will lose its only real poolhall they have left, losing it's OTHER true poolhall to a similar scenario of the plaza being completely torn down and demolished by another big corporate real estate company.

SO WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE THE FUNDS TO MOVE INTO A NEW BIGGER LOCATION THAT IS RIGHT IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN RENO!!!

NO POOLHALL HAS EVER BEEN IN DOWNTOWN AND IT WILL BE A HUGE ASSET AND ADDITION TO THE DOWN TOWN SCENE!!

We have already found the building which is an 11,000 square foot 2 story gorgeous building w plenty of parking and huge bay windows in front to showcase our amazing interior we already have, we just have to move all or stuff!!

There are 2 floors...with a gorgeous staircase leading to the mezzanine where we will make that "the players" area for the more serious players, and tournaments....while downstairs will be for leagues and the general public!!

All our tables will be newly recovered and rerailed w 860 Simon is cloth including of course our bar tables!!

We also have the ability to utilize our basement if we wish for an extra rent cost and put a nightclub or separate business or a "PRO SHOP" down there!!

We have already solidified a contract with the new landlord and he would love to have us if we can come up with the money!!

We have also signed on with the famous "Reno Crawls" organization which puts on "Themed bar crawls" on all holidays and special occasions that generates thousands of dressed up, costumed, themed patrons "crawling" from bar to bar if they have signed up with the "Crawls"!!!

These alone make for 6 to 10,000$ nights in some cases!!

Not to mention we will be right in the heart of downtown Reno and get 24 hour foot traffic along with all the huge "FAMOUS " events Reno puts on like the classic car show "Hot August Nights" and "Street Vibrations" which is the 2nd largest motorcycle rally in North America next to Sturgess, as well of course as being closer to the Grand Sierra Resort where twice a year the Reno Open and U.S. Bar Table Championships are held!!

The poolhall will be right around the corner instead of 15 miles away!!

We also will be 2 blocks from our famous Aces AAA ballpark stadium and have ties to the organization to do "Aces Days" where people can come to the poolhall and do meet and greets w the players and chalenge them to a fun game of pool!!

This move will not only prospectively atleast quadruple our yearly revenue but will bring a MUCH NEEDED new upscale business to the heart of downtown which is riddled w old bars that have been there for years.

Downtown needs some new upscale fun businesses to open up and rejuvenate the scene like they are rapidly doing in midtown....but not downtown.  

We want to be that trendsetting business!!

We will also be working with the kids for AFTER SCHOOL BILLIARD CAMPS AND PROGRAMS since there isn't much for the youth to do in Reno.  It's a bar/casino city and we plan to start some "YOUTH BILLIARD PROGRAMS" to keep kids off the streets, out of trouble, and give them a positive fun challenging competitive sport to get into as an alternative to gangs and drugs which is a problem in the youth community in Reno and it's surrounding areas.

There just isn't much to do outside of bars or casinos unless you are outside in nature.

And half the year, it's too cold for that.  So we plan to open up that Avenue for our youth to have a positive outlet and work with the schools to get that going.  

With so many new amazing opportunities with this new location, not only for us at www.BSCbilliards.com but for the community as a whole, we would hate to see this business go under so soon for reasons out of our controll.

Rent has always been paid, and business is doing just fine. 

There is no reason to put us out other than greed.

But that's corporate America for you...they eat up the family owned business and spit them out, not caring about the loss and devestation it causes not only the family but the community.

Corporations don't care about their community.

Family businesses on the other hand most certainly do.

As my brother Stephen and I and our family most certainly do.

So we ask for your help with any donation to help us reach our goal of $50,000 in 46 days.
