As a parent of a child with Adrenal Insufficiency it took 15 years until I was able to sit face to face with another parent who truly understood. Four hours went by in what seemed like moments. As I started reaching out and finding others on social media I was suddenly filled with hope. I cried tears of joy and relief that I was no longer alone. What I have learned from other parents and adults affected by Adrenal Insufficiency has been life changing.

Waiting 15 years to find an understanding friend is simply too long! This conference will provide opportunities for families and adults to network and form long lasting friendships. Think of what this conference will mean for not only for the parent, but for the child who's never met someone who must endure the same blood tests and take the same medicine.

Parents and affected adults will also be able to meet and hear from the leaders in the field of Adrenal Insufficiency. They will be able to network and solidify friendships and connections made on social media. They will hear about how to keep themselves and their children emotionally healthy even with the challenges of a chronic condition. They will be able to feel "normal" while surrounded with love and support from the AI community.
