This year I turn 50 and I thought it would be a great idea that in lieu of gifts for myself I'd like the gift of support and donations to help our rescue kitties at Sparkle Cat Rescue, Inc.

Sparkle Cat Rescue is non profit, and 100% volunteer, no paid employees, formed in October of 2014 and incorporated in the state of North Carolina on November 6, 2014. Our 501c3 is in process. 

To date we have rescued 56 cats and we are making a difference for the felines we have rescued! Your support will help us to continue to save lives of the forgotten felines in the Triad area of North Carolina.

Our rescued kitties were once abandoned, neglected, homeless in desperate need of rescue and some require more socialization than others. Our awesome team of fosters and volunteers dedicate their time to helping these kitties. We have had 18 adoptions since we were formed and several more pending adoptions as of today.

Every cat that comes to our rescue is loved and appreciated for the special cat they are. Lots of TLC is given to those that need it most to help socialize them for future adoptive homes.  It is such a thrill to work with these cats and see the change in them when they learn they can trust humans. I know the excitement myself and other fosters feel when we see a turnaround from the scared cat that came to us to the loving and thankful cat they become within a week or a month. Sometimes it may take longer for certain cats but we are all very patient and willing to give them all the time they need.

I have always loved animals, especially cats, since I was young. I never dreamed my life would evolve into forming a rescue but this truly is a dream and I feel something I was born to do! Wonderful friendships have been formed with the rescue work we do and for that I am eternally grateful. We currently have 9 foster homes and 34 cats in foster care as of 2/20/15.

If we do go over our goal of $500, rest assured 100% of the money will  go directly to vetting and feeding our rescued kitties. Let's get this party started and make this happen!
