On February 6th, 2014, Pascal was arrested after participating in a bitcoin transaction in Miami Beach. Pascal is the first person at the State level to have been charged with these allegations. The State of Florida will be using the outcome of this case to set new case laws for future regulations. Pascal’s legal defense has depleted our family of all of our resources. The outcome of this case will impact our family and the Bitcoin community as a whole. We need the best defense for Pascal and your support will enable us to fight these charges for the benefit of us all.

Since there is no or little precedent, our legal team has been working extremely hard at researching and coming up with the best defense possible for Pascal. Due to limitations also implemented by the court, such as being on pre-trial house detention, Pascal’s has had a hard time finding quality work in order to pay for his legal defense. With his work schedule over 60 hours per week, he barely makes enough money to cover his normal expenses along with the high daily monitoring fee for his house arrest monitor. It would be very helpful for anyone who can help to please donate as these funds will go directly into paying the legal costs of this case.
