Ironic some may say that this guy's name is Zeus (Greek God of the Sky), when he actually has very little vision.   He is less than 2 years old and dumped at a local animal shelter in April of 2014.   By June of 2014, no one came forward to help this poor boy and he was going to be euthanized for no other reason other than there was no more space for him. Given his vision issues, Zeus life was to be cut short.  The Panacea team rescued him in hopes of finding him a forever home because this happy boy simply loves every person he meets.   After spending time with our veterinarian and eye specialist we discovered that Zeus was born with juvenille cataracts and is a PERFECT candidate for surgery.  He most likely will regain all of his eye sight.  However, the surgery has to be performed by a specialist with costs running more than $4500.   Zeus has to be on special medication for the next month to prepare for surgery. So we hope we will be able to raise funds to completely fund his surgery tentatively scheduled for the end of September.  Please help sweet Zeus regain his eye sight!
