The Libertarian Party of Kansas (LPKS) is the party of principle - Fiscally Responsible and Socially Accepting. We need your support to continue to spread the Principle of Liberty.

The Libertarian Party of Kansas (LPKS) is the party of principle.  We are Fiscally Responsible and Socially Accepting in our personal lives, our politics, and in the way we run our party. 

Consistent with our principles, LPKS projects that require funding are designed to be clear, concise, and transparent.  When we ask you to share your hard earned dollars, you deserve to know how they will be used.

We need to raise $1,000 to upgrade our website.  We need your help today.  $5 or $1000, you know exactly what your funds will be used for.

Project Synopsis:

This project has one primary goal:

Better prepare the LPKS to help elect Kansas Libertarians in 2014.

This project has three sub-goals to achieve the primary goal:

  1. Improved LPKS volunteer identification and communication
  2. Increasing the website’s security and backup capabilities
  3. Improved LPKS branding

During this project we will make five improvements to the Libertarian Party of Kansas ( Website.

  1. Creation of a web-based Volunteer Database integrated into the site.
  2. Better email list integration with allowing people to opt-in and opt-out of specific email lists more easily.
  3. Update all existing website plug-ins & widgets to assure continued error free service.
  4. Creation of an automated backup system to assure data survival in case server failure or hacking attack.
  5. Update all LPKS Logos on the website to the new Logo.

Project Cost:

$1,000.00 with ½ paid at the start of project and ½ paid upon completion.

Project Manager:

LPKS Volunteer Stacey Davis will act as project manager. Stacey has decades of project management experience and successfully managed the LPKS project that created the current website. That project was completed on-time and on-budget.

Project Vendor:

We will work with the design team that created the existing website. Their familiarity with the existing site architecture helps assure the most effective and efficient project possible.

Project Timeline:

This project will be completed within eight weeks of start-of-project.  The project will start when all required funds have been secured in the form of donations.

*** Government mandated notices: The Kansas Campaign Finance Act requires political committees to report the name; mailing address and date received for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $50 in a calendar year. We are also required to report the occupation for each individual whose donations total over $150. $15,000 maximum annually per contributor. The IRS requires us to print, “Contributions are not tax-deductible” on all fundraising appeals.
