The Ross College Foundation hasn't added a story.

Spring is here!

It's been another long winter, which has us at Ross and The Ross College Foundation ready to get outside and start enjoying the warmer weather. In fact, this year Ross and The Ross College Foundation are hosting a month-long challenge throughout April called Spring Into Action.

The Challenge

The inaugural Spring Into Action is a challenge to walk or run 26.2 miles (or more) over the course of April. That is the same distance as a marathon!

Who Can Participate?

We want you! Ross and The Ross College Foundation invite YOU to participate in the inaugural Ross Spring Into Action! Join us as we take this upcoming April as our month to get outside and take positive action for our health.

What if you don't run? No problem. Walk a mile a day for 26 days and you've completed the challenge.

What if you already walk a mile or more a day? You rock! And you can set your own goal of a double marathon or more.

What if you are an avid runner that runs multiple miles day? We think you know the answer, set yourself a goal that pushes you throughout the month. Something like 75 miles over the course of the month, for example.

You know what you can do! We urge you to set yourself a challenge that gets outside, gets you moving, and positively impacts your health.

What's In It For You?

It is a great way to shake off the winter blues, enjoy the outdoors, get active again, and start some healthy habits as the t-shirt weather approaches. Need some more motivation? Look at the benefits below.

  • Self-Confidence
  • Community-Building
  • Mental Clarity
  • Support a Good Cause
  • Bragging Rights

You Mentioned Supporting a Good Cause, Tell Me more...

Our Spring Into Action challenge is also a fundraiser with the goal of raising $5,000 for The Ross College Foundation. You can use this Fundrazr page to get your friends and family to support you by donating.

For example, someone could donate $1 for every mile that you complete. Say you have ten people donating at $1/mile, you now have $10 for every mile you complete. Think of this as added motivation to push you towards completing the challenge.

Better yet, all proceeds go directly to helping Ross students overcome financial barriers and achieve their goals!

Story assist — generating contentworking

To create an engaging campaign story, please answer the questions below. Don't worry about full sentences or grammar—the focus is on providing detailed information. The more details you give, the better the final story will be. Once you submit your answers, a draft story will be generated for you to review and edit as needed.

  1. What is the problem you want to solve?
Provide a description of the underlying problem or situation you want to improve with funding. Explain why this issue is important and what negative effects it currently has on people, the environment or your community.
  2. What is your solution?
Describe your plan to address the problem and highlight what makes your approach unique or effective.
  3. How will the funds be used?
Outline how the money will be allocated to specific programs, resources or services.
  4. How will contributions make a tangible difference?
Explain the benefits and positive changes resulting from your project being funded. If appropriate, also explain how the lives of beneficiaries will be impacted.
  5. How will you keep supporters involved in your campaign?
Detail how you will provide updates on progress, share stories on the impact of contributions and keep supporters connected to the project.
Please answer at least one question to generate a story.
