My name is Catherine and I paint cats (and dogs, and flowers and
occasionally people, but mostly cats).
During a fairly low point in my life I discovered the Facebook
group, Ingrid's Cat Haven - Cat Community Page. I am a cat lover,
that's no secret to anyone, but this group is the kindest, most caring
community of people ever (and bonus it's full of cats!). I don't even
live in Victoria and they welcomed me in. Anyway the FB group is
really for people who have adopted a cat from Ingrid and reading the
stories of how this somehow magically lady perfectly pairs cats and
people is extraordinary.
So anyway I wanted to help her and the kitty cats she saves from
certain death. I could make a small cash donation but then I thought,
why don't I raise money using my painting skils! So I have decided to
run a fundraiser.
You make a donation on this page - minimum of $10 and then submit your cat picture here.
Ingrid will choose a picture at random On 01/06/2021 and the winner
will receive an acrylic painting of your cat ready to be framed by the
1st August 2021.
Once you have made your donation head over to my website to upload your pictures. I will arrange with Ingrid to have these displayed on the Facebook group.
