The Bastrop County Animal Shelter has been operating at or over capacity for the last few months. Many animals are risk of losing their lives due to lack of space. Our wonderful fosters have opened up their homes to help us save these four dogs, but we need your help.
Annie (top left) entered the shelter as a stray with injuries that appear to be from another animal. She is missing a huge chunk of her ear and has bruises and scabs on her torso. She will need immediate medical care.
GG (top right) is the longest stay shelter dog. She has been there for over 6 months and continues to wilt away in her kennel. She is heartworm positive and will require treatment prior to adoption.
Betty (bottom left) is a young dog who has grown up in the shelter over the past few months. The shelter is no place for her and we want to give her the best chance of finding a home.
Widget (bottom right) is a scared little dog who is desperately in need of a calm, loving foster home where he will flourish. Due to his intense level of fear, he has received little to no vetting. We will need to get him to our veterinarian to be examined, vaccinated, tested, and neutered.
