Hello!
We are the final year art students graduating from The University of Lancaster in 2016. We are currently raising money to support our degree show in June and we need your help.
The show is titled "Omnia XLIV" and shall be open to the public for a week from the 14th of June this year. Omnia is Latin for all or everything and implies collectivity and diversity all at the same time and thus best represents us as a body of young artists, also referring to the increasing ability of art to adopt many forms in many places.
This is our opportunity to give back to the university community, our fellow students, lecturers and the general public, all of whom have supported us throughout our studies.
Lancaster University is one of the leading places to study Art in the country and hosts some exciting young practitioners. Much of our artwork exhibits more than just aesthetic quality, students also branching out into social practice, digital art and interdisciplinary mediums. By giving generously you will be supporting a shared passion for investing in young artists and their artwork as they start out in the industry.
Funds raised will go towards the catalogues, advertising and hosting of the event avaliable to anyone who visits. The funds will also help us in boosting publicity for the event and for the young artists exhibiting giving them a leg up as they leave education.
We would love to see you at our Private View evening from 6:00 - 8:30PM on the 14th of June at the Peter Scott Gallery, Lancaster.
Refreshments will be provided.
