1. THE FOUNDER'S PERSONAL HISTORY

My name is Christina Dawn Brown. I began my lfe with the amazing privilage of living within daily reach of an essentially pristine northern Alberta boreal forest.  I lived there with my family for my first 21 years. At that point, I moved to the closest big city Edmonton, AB to further my education and began to deeply investigate my passion for the intricies of the natural world. I began university and found myself emersed in awe studing science on an immensely deep and intricate level. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc Specialization in Cellular Biotechnology. During my degree I studied many biological and general sciences including Chemisty, Physics, Heredity, Anatomy of Vertebrates, Biology, Biochemisty, Physiology, Genetics, Gene Expression and Regulation, Gene Manipulation, Botany, Fermentation Biotechnology, Pathogenic Bacteria, Zoology, Microbial Physiciology, and finally Plant Biotechnology. I pondered continuing my study of science as a Master's student, but as a young adult I decided to begin to explore the real world at that point. 

Upon graduation, I had realized my new knowledge had intensified my respect for nature and developed a deep appreciation for the earth and all the living beings whom this is home for. I decided ethically I would not EVER work for a biotech company though my education prepared me to fill a corporate or researcher role in this new field. Instead I followed my heart and my intuition lead me to a rewarding career in natural health. I began learning more about the Earth's miraculous bounty, by working in promoting nutritional healing with vitamins, herbs and tonics. I took several years piecing together a profound understanding of the human connection to our external and internal environments and how these components form our health and keep our lives in balance.

I knew I wanted more extension in my ability to communicate my scientific knowledge. I went back to university and completed and After Degree in Education and became an educator of Biological Sciences for secondary students. Shortly after I entered this profession I became pregnant with twins and have since been at the helm of raising my daughters as a single mother. I could no longer stand idle and felt for my daughters I must now contribute my gifts to the world that support life so I started the organization Earth Forest Returns on my 42 birthday. 

2. THE CAUSE

I have never lost my passion for the Earth and the natural world we live in. I desperately want to encourage all people to step up and do what is instinctually right in our connected hearts. We all know cutting down trees for profit which includes making disposable paper products or building supplies is against our ultimate survival as a species and an achiaic way of benefiting from the Earth's forests.

This is especially true when industry has developed better ways to create building supplies and can easily manufacture paper products using sustainable crops like hemp or bamboo. We all know that with innovation, educated counsumer choices and support from government these sustainable revolutionary markets can and will be more profitable in the long run. We must change our ways now to sustain a fruitful future for the upcoming generations.

The Earth's forest land does not need to be used to support millions of acres of cattle grazing when we know the significant benefits of eating more vegitarian foods is not only more economical, but better for our personal health and that of the overall planet. We also know we need oxygen to survive. If we continue to destroy our forests we are limiting our planet's ability to clean it's air and purify it's water system from the mass amount of pollution our species produces every second of every day.  

3. Where Will your support go?

The central mandate of the Earth Forest Returns is to create massive global awareness of the importance of our living forests and to support projects aimed at preserving and restoring natural forest lands to their glory. Once our non profit organization is set up and running we will create a status recognition campaign targeting on going corporate donations and distribute those funds regularly to projects and organizations around the world that are focused and centered around protecting and restoring forest lands.

Our secondary focus will be to influence government officals, city planners and corporations to build vertically attempting to deminish urban sprawl, followed by creating buffer zones around metropolis areas to protect both the inhabitants of the two seperate ecosystems.

If you provide your contact information you will be sent a fully transparent quarterly accountabilty statement of our status of progress with a detailed report of where all our funding has been distributed to and current results we have to report.

4. WHY?

Please join us and help me end the greed driven maddness of cutting down our Earth's forests in exchange for a very few individual's personal gain verses protecting everyone's ability to have clean air and our natural water filtation that occurs in our forests. Help us protect the billions of living organisms that conribute to our worlds essential commensal biodiversity. Our world contains forest to balance our ecosystem and is our meca of genetic variation that allows evolution to continue daily and supports life as we know it.

5. How much do I start with?

Any donation amount is accepted, so please help me create massive global awareness regarding this critical seed of life. Donate now any amount or start with $5.00.

Give generously to honor our home, our mother earth and take a stand against the rape of our planet by giving back to awareness, the preservation and re establishment of our Earth's forests.

You can start today by donating as little as $1, $10, $100, $1000 or any amount you are capable of adding to our efforts. All donations will be graciously used to help our cause.

Monthly donations are also greatly appreciated and can be initated for only $5 month. Answer me this one question "Are our forests as important as one fancy coffee each month to you and your loved ones?"   

What ever you can give to help get our cause get off the ground and move this essential priority to the forefront of social media, business news, practices and policies. Earth's forests need your help now.
