Who are we?
Allea is a technology marketing & advertisement solutions firm located in the Clarence-Rockland in the Eastern Ontario region of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We can be described as a client-oriented firm where customers are informed thoroughly of the process and treated with the utmost attention. Our discovery meeting business process, our friendly customer service & our delivery approach to creative branding, web, mobile and social media implementations are our main selling point.
To further differentiate ourselves from competitors, Allea will hold true to its vision of offering a new community advertisement service called “Community Message Center” to local businesses in various rural communities who are at a proximity of a passing highway. It is a LED based billboard with a community feel. The billboard is accessible from the Internet and can be managed from anywhere to publish advertisement campaigns for local and large brands businesses. Allea believes by offering this new service, it will become the leader and local experts in providing technology marketing & advertisement solutions for the local growing business community of Clarence-Rockland and others attracting new customers for web and mobile development projects.
We plan to use our local presence and our continued involvement in the business community to our utmost advantage. With a rapidly growing community (11.5% population growth from 2006 to 2011), the area is constantly adding new retailers and businesses to service the community. Clarence-Rockland has local outlets of major chains like A&W Restaurant, Boston Pizza, Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, Subway Restaurant, Dollarama, Food Basics, Game Stop, Giant Tiger, Home Hardware, Independent Grocers, LCBO, McDonald's Restaurant, Mark's Work Wearhouse, Shoppers Drug Mart, SonXPlus, St-Hubert Express Restaurant, Gabriel's Pizza, POP Shoes, RE/Max Riviera 2000 Realty Inc., Brokerage, TSC and Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Building the Local Economy
As the community continues to grow over the next few years and a boost of increased traffic, Allea’s Community Message Center will become a prime platform for business to advertise campaigns on to attract commuters to spend in their businesses. It will help and support local businesses and create the local multiplier effect in the community where for every $1 spent, $0.45 is re-distributed locally.
By creating a new niche in the Out-Of-Home Advertisement industry, Allea estimates to connect the community with its people, businesses and the world using the billboard as the communication tool.
Through a philosophy of "nothing but the best" regarding both product and services, Allea will establish itself as an exceptional technology partners for local businesses in Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, Canada.
As the word-of-mouth is very strong in rural communities, the Allea reputation and name will be known outside the city and will present Allea with new business opportunity in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada region.
Funding efforts up to date
We hope to find seed money of $260,000 to launch the start of the message center construction and launch our new business offer after it received all permit and lease approvals from the city council of Clarence-Rockland. The SDCPR (a regional development corporation) has agreed to a $57 500 business loan and the BDC is committing $40 000 to the project. We hope to raise a minimum of $60 000 through FundRazr to cover some of the cost.
City's Involvement
We met city officials last Tuesday (Feb 17) and the city is supporting the project 100% and is ready to help to pass the project through city council and will expedite the permit and agreement process. The first presentation was to city council scheduled on March 2nd 2015 and all 9 councillors approved the project to go to the Planning Committee.
