"The Prom", sponsored by Project Hope of Colorado, is a fairytale event in our community for individuals with mental and/or physical disabilites, ages 16 and up. A Prom is only a dream for people with special needs. With your contribution we have the ability to bring that dream to life.
On May 18, 2014 over 350 special needs guests, along with their
caregivers, will put on their 'princess' dresses
and their 'prince charming' tuxedos
and make their way to The Two River Convention Center. There, they
will be greeted by over 100 volunteers from our community
and escorted into a full-scale ballroom. Dinner is served;
and before everyone has a chance to clear their plates
the dance floor is rushed by the most excited, joyful, fun loving
group of people you could ever meet.
Throughout the evening guests are treated with a limousine or
horse-and-carriage ride and get their pictures taken by professional photographers.

We need your help! Although some of these services are donated and businesses in our community have contributed, Project Hope still has expenses to make this evening a success. Please consider financially assisting us this year in changing lives and making dreams come true.
100% of all donations go directly into:
- Approximately 170 Tuxedo Rentals
- Approximately 600 Dinners
- Facility Rental
- Decorations
- Special Altered Prom Gowns
