Season 2 for CCMTB Corona Composite Mountain Bike Team. Season 1 was a fruitful year with lots of new experience and much attention as we have a female athlete gaining lots of traction in the sport of Cross Country Mountain Biking, winning state Champion.

Starting as what seems the Bad News Bears storyline, we have grown to become the Number 1 Composite Team in SoCal.

We have Formed a new 501(c)(3) and are affiliated with Corona Norco Youth Development a Non Profit organization to help the Youth further their Cycling goals.

Second Year into running the Corona Composite High School MTB team.

Learned alot year 1, without the help of sponsors and personal contrubutions from valued friends and family we could not have done what we did 2014.

2014 was a fruitful year as we were able to get the team into full gear, have a tent and produce a State Champion as well as SoCal League Champion! Further we were able to produce videos that helped get our 15 year old Female athlete to race with a World Champion Rebecca Rusch for the 24 hours of old pueblo.

Much like the 2014 season the funding request of $10,000 will contribute towards the cost of direct team expenses for CCMTB Mountain Bicycle Racing Team members for the 2015 racing Schedule. As a result of both a concerted outreach effort targeted to boys and girls at various corona High Schools and the publicity resulting from an successful 2014 season, we anticipate total team membership to be approximately 10-15 students to start. The team also expects continued growth among under-privileged students. Donation monies ensure equal access to all students by offsetting initial startup costs, race registration fees, travel costs, equipment costs, refreshments, etc.

The continued primary goal for 2015-2016 is to use the MTB composite team to generate several traditional school teams (aka single school teams like football, basketball, swimming, etcetera) over the next two years. Like "Hart Composite" in Santa Clarita.

Outline of some of these costs:

Racing Kits: 300 Per Student
Student Team Entry Fee's: 50 Per Student
Races for the Year: 45 Per Race x 6: 300 Per Student
Travel for the year: 200.00 Per Student

Thanks again sincerly,

Coach's: Dana Pierce, Kevin Carlson, and Mike Koval.
