Riggs is a 2 year old Bullmastiff currently living in a foster home. As a puppy, Riggs was basically crate bound and was not used to enjoying the freedom a puppy should. By being crated for the majority of his puppy life, he was unable to exercise and develop muscles properly. As a result, this gentle giant has two bad knees and a bad hip, that need to be operated on in order for Riggs to enjoy and healthy, happy, and comfortable life.

After being taken from his original owner, Riggs was able to live freely under the supervision of his foster parents. He is able to come and go from his house to a large back yard with other dogs. He loves to play, and LOVES attention.

Since Riggs is only 2 years old, he should be able to keep up with the other dogs, especially pups his age, but his knees and hips restrict him from living up to his full potential.

I received an estimate from the VCA Animal Hospital that could operate on Riggs, and the cost is high. The family is looking at a total of $8,000 for knee surgery alone. (That is $4,000 per knee). The family is struggling to figure out a way to pay for these expenses.

Any little bit helps. We all know how much we love our pets, and most of us would go at great lengths to secure their quality of life. If you could help Riggs and his family, we would appreciate it so much. Please consider making a donation for this guy. He has a long life ahead of him!

Thank you!!
