The concept of "Freedom Cells" - decentralized,
local organizing in groups of 8 - was first outlined by John Bush in
2014 and then expanded by Derrick Broze in 2016.
The Freedom Cell Network was launched as a website in 2016,
before being replaced by the current website in 2020.
As of 2022, there are now 30,000 people on the website, and
thousands more organizing cells on Telegram and in person.
However, the growth of the worldwide Freedom Cell Network has
happened while the website is operating at less than perfect standards.
We have heard your complaints and concerns. We know there were
problems with the email sign up, and we are aware there are
sometimes issues with the maps (our main feature).
Now, we are ready to upgrade so that the Freedom Cell Network
website will function properly and allow for greater real world connections.
Here's where the money will go:
1. Hire a full time web admin and developer to build out the
site and fix errors
2. Upgrade the software behind the Member
and Cell Maps for better functionality
3. Translate the entire
website and make it available in several different
languages
4. Continue to troubleshoot any future errors that
may appear
