God told me over a year ago to start an online 24/7/365 Christian Radio Station featuring a large mix of Christian music styles, and various other Christian content to help spread the word of Jesus Christ and reach the lost.
My name is Dennis R Syracuse and over a year ago, feeling much like Noah building the Ark, I started to put the pieces into place to build Gods radio station, now called Lion of Judah Ministries Radio, KROAR. I followed each instruction from God specificly until on June 28th, 2014, KROAR was launched. It has not been easy and at times frustrating, BUT KROAR has been broadcasting worldwide continuisouly 24/7/365 for 1 year. Praise Jesus!
As per Gods instructions, I have been focused like a laser beam on this project not detered by storms or negative thinking of others and will remain so focused for the kingdom until I am told otherwise.
Operating Lion of Judah Ministries Radio, KROAR has a cost which is far more than I can personally handle and I am hoping you can help. Below is a list of our operating needs for the Lord. Please take a look and if there is anything specific you feel led to help us with that would be such a blessing. No blessing is too small, for example $1.29 will purchase 1 song to help grow the KROAR Christian music library.
1. Securenet Streaming Service (Links KROAR to the world) $99.00/month
2. Music through Itunes $1.29/track varies per month (est $20-40+/month)
3. Facebook advertising $100.00/month (Weve had very good experimental success with this but too expensive for KROAR now.)
4. Arrakis ARC-8 Blue Mixing Board $1099.00 will add considerable control to the station as well as multiple mic capability and bluetooth/phone for live interviews and shows.
5. Booms for microphones 2-$120.00ea
6. TASCAM DR-44WL remote digital recorder with wifi for remote broadcasts. $299.00
7. Wix.com Website provider, mail box, domain $220.00/year
8. Music Royalties $500/yr, low estimate, varies by radio audience numbers. Formula used: (((Number of songs per hour x 24 hours per day) x (# of listeners)) x (365 days per year) x .0023) (trying to find less expensive way of doing this but royalties need to be paid to all entertainers.
9. Staff (A. The long term vision is to hire 6 Announcers each doing a 4 hour broadcast 24 hours/day @ $5.00/hour 7 days a week. B. The moderate vision is hiring 3 Announcers each doing a 4 hour broadcast 12 hours/day @ $5.00/hour 5 days a week. C. The economical vision is hiring 1 Announcer doing a 4 hour broadcast @ $5.00/hour 5 days a week.) Until now this has been a one man broadcast. It is not a one man job and in order to grow the Lords station others are needed. Each announcer will be totally responsible for the content of their shift under the supervision of myself. This includes music selection, talk, scripture, feedback with listeners, setting up interviews etc.
10. Promotional Specialty Advertising items as needed hats, t-shirts, coffee mugs etc. Estimate $200.00 per need. Would be used as incentive during fund drives, gifts during broadcasts etc. I would love to be giving out incentives with KROAR logos to those who bless KROAR but we do not have the funding for that at this time. This is a very powerful form of advertising as I am sure you are aware.
11. New Desktop Computer & Monitor which will be dedicated solely to broadcasting the KROAR signal 24/7/365 Estimated Cost $700. Software that is used to control and broadcast our signal, Securenet, requires a dedicated system for broadcasting. I am currently using one older computer for multi purposes including broadcasting and it makes the broadcast signal very unstable.
12. Laptop Computer for all other computer opeations including programming, research, correspondence, communication for live interviews, remote broadcasts, accounting, weather monitoring, music management, syndicated material management, news gathering. My personal laptop I had been using for this died back in January. Estimated Cost $700.
13. WiFi $50.00/month
14. iOS apple App $100/year (Apple is much more expensive then Android App. Android is just one time fee.)
These are all things needed to take Lion of Judah Ministries Radio, KROAR, to the next growth phase. I have been instructed by God to ask for help funding of these items. Asking for help is something that I am not very good at and tend to be very humble, but I am being obediant to the Lord. The rest is up to Him.
Know that last year our average number of daily listeners was low because I have not been able to afford to advertise our presence due to lack of funding. But in April I spent $23 of my own funds for advertising for a 5 day period on Facebook as an experiment and was shocked to find that over 30,000 people were exposed to KROAR and our listenership increased 20%+.
In addition this last year KROAR was listened in over 74 different countries Including USA, Russia, China, Japan, Philippines, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea, Brazil, Italy, Australia, France, Netherlands, Taiwan, Spain, Indonesia, India, South Africa, Mexico, Poland, Sweden, Argentina, Austria, Finlind, Norway, New Zealand, Turkey, Columbia, Ireland, Switzerland, Denmark, Egypt, Czech Republic, Iran, Ukraine, Vietnam, Belgium, Israel, Kuwait, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Chile, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, Morocco, Pakistan, Romania, Thailand, Andora, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Georgia, Croatia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Libya, Moldova, Malaysia, Nigeria, Panama, Palestine, Portugal, Qatar, Slovenia, Uruguay, and Venezuela. To me China was the biggest joy, they are the 4th largest listener from that list...Praise Jesus! 45 of the 50 United States also listen to KROAR.
KROAR this year upgraded to a more flexible Broadcast Software, added free KROAR apps for iOS and Android, Added station automation software, been testing Periscope App for live video while we broadcast, added Unshackled (longest running radio drama in the world 7 days a week 9PM) to the syndicated lineup, Added old time radio commercials to a lot of our programming for nostalgia of a bygone time, (Given airtime to new and upcoming Christian Music Artists including Santos, Jamison Strain, Barry McGuire/288, Steve Wolosin, Sarah Brusco, Jim Brady Trio, City of David and much more), signed up with New Release Today (formerly New Release Tuesday) and broadcast most of their syndicated programs:

Jam the Hype (Christian rap and hip hop Mon 10am and 10pm)
In addition very soon (If it hasnt been added already.) a new Christian News Service called OneNewsNow.com will be added. Their news will be available at www.kroar.com and will also be broadcast Monday through Friday at the top of the hour from 5am EDT - 8pm EDT.
