Since I can remember the New Jersey Shore has been my second home and for some of you it is your home. We have all seen the destruction left by Hurricane Sandy, the most powerful storm New Jersey has even seen. Its heartbreaking as lives were lost, power outages reached millions, and homes were destroyed. The place we call "the Jersey Shore" was left in ruins. But New Jersey is full of strong, resilient people that will come together to help rebuild. A small donation is a great way to contribute and help relief efforts. This week I will be starting a fundraiser to help support the Relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy.

In a series of orders I will be placing based on demand, I will be selling Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief wrist-bands. I'm asking everyone to help share and spread the fundraiser so we can make the largest contribution possible!

BRACELET CONTENT:

The band will be 'Jersey Blue' and the font will be colored 'buff' (a tan/light brown which is New Jersey's state color).

COST/PROCEEDS:

Wirst-bands will be $10 and ALL PROCEEDS will go to relief efforts taking place along the New Jersey Coastline. Most notably, the Red Cross South Jersey Chapter and the East Coast Habitat for Humanity.

I have set up a Pay Pal account for fundraising purposes that utilizes the FundRazr app. It will be posted on this page and you will be able to make payment using that. Your mailing address information will be sent directly to me so I can ship you your wristband when they arrive. You can also share the app with friends and family if you feel they may be interested (It would also be greatly appreciated).



**I understand there are plenty of fraudulent fundraisers and scams out there but let me get personal for a second. As I mentioned, since I could remember the New Jersey Shore has been my second home. I have family with homes in Long Beach Island, Toms River and the Seaside area. Since I could walk I've been a frequent flyer and it has been a very influential and memorable part of my child hood and my life now. We've all seen the pictures and its nothing short of devastation along the barrier islands. One of my family members has even had there life long business completely destroyed in Seaside.
Hearing and seeing the aftermath of Sandy has put an emotional weight over my head as I'm sure it has for many of you. It has also inspired me to do whatever I can to help restore our coastline and get people back on they're feet. I encourage you to do the same and your donation will be GREATLY appreciated and utilized fully to help people recover and restore the New Jerseys Coastline.
