Central Florida Weimaraner & Dog Rescue DBA Lifeline Dog Rescue hasn't added a story.
My Name is Denise Ridgeon I am the president of Central Florida Weimaraner & Dog Rescue Inc dba Lifeline Dog Rescue. We are a 501c3 registered charity. During the past 3 months we have had several hard medical cases in rescue. This campaign is to reach out to supporters and advocates in the hope we can get assistance for Rylees medical expenses Rylee needs to have an MRI. Below is Rylees story. First let me introduce you to this sweet 5 year old Female Weimaraner. Rylee was found abandoned in Alabama just before Christmas although Rylee was deemed as a stray she appeared in good health. Rylee is a good girl very sweet and loves home comforts so our evaluation of her was that previously she had been cared for and had lived in a home. At some point that all changed Rylee has marks on her muzzle that correpond with her trying to escape from what appears a confined chain link fenced area The fur around her muzzle will not grow back, That does not alter her beauty.either inside or out Rylee is a gentle girl. Rylees future looked bright we would find her a home with a Weimaraner family that would love and cherish her, Rylee was vaccinated and an appointment for her spay was made for 2 weeks later, And this is where it all goes wrong for Rylee. Our Georgia vet conducted her spay as they have done with numerous of our Weimaraners, After the spay Rylee was unable to stand at first we thought it was a reaction to the anesthetic and she was kept overnight for observation. The following day she was marginally better 4 days on Rylee could stand but not move very well. Our vet thought she could possibly have had an embolism he ordered rest and gave her medication. Over the past 2 months Rylee has got stronger and she is able to walk but her 2 back paws are curling under and she stumbles. Rylee has been referred to a Neurological specialist and our next move is to have an MRI to determine surgery needed. We have to do this for Rylee no matter what we have to get her back healthy. Rylees vet, specialists and the MRI have and will continue to run into a huge amount, We are asking for assistance with Rylees medical expenses in the hope we can get her the medical attention she needs in a timely manner Please share Rylees campaign and if you are able to donate we would be so grateful no amount is too small we appreciate any assistance you are able to give, Thank you so much for taking the time to read Rylees story
