What does the ACT Society do?
The Artistic Creators of Tomorrow Society is looking to host a series of workshops that will provide a fun and professional place to use and learn leading industry tools, with the guidance of Vancouver's creative professionals.
Some of the subjects will be:
- Movie Making
- Music Creation
- Photography
- Graphic Design
- Monster Make-Up
- Skateboarding
- DJ for a Day
- And much more
Providing subject-specific workshops which excite teens is the ultimate motivator to learn, and encourages them to express themselves creatively in a positive way. There is a chance they will discover something about themselves that will transform their life and fulfill their passion. Our goal is to not only provide professional training in fun, exciting subjects, but to provide unforgettable experiences that inspire creation.
WE LOVE VANCOUVER By focusing on the at-risk youth of our city and giving them an opportunity, we change our city's future.
Where Will the Money Go?
The more money the Artistic Creators of Tomorrow Society can raise the greater variety and the more workshops we are able to provide. This means we can inspire a greater number of kids. Each workshop will vary in cost determined on equipment and supplies needed. Teachers will be hired to provide professional instruction offering much needed employment opportunities in the field of Art instruction. Funds raised will be spent on equipment and supplies for the teachers and students. Additionally, healthy snacks will be provided for every student attending a workshop.
Future Goals
Our future goal is to provide scholarships for selected youth who show promise and enthusiasm in our workshops. These would normally be students who probably wouldn't think post-secondary education is a possibility because of the cost. This would give them the opportunity to further their education in a respected college or university and bring them one step closer to living their passion.

For a $15 donation to The ACT Society, You'll receive a coupon for a drop-in class at The Actors Chapel Vancouver (Only one allowed per person) The Actor's Chapel Vancouver was founded in 2010 by Scott Bromley, who began his acting career working alongside Jonny Depp on 21 Jump street here in Vancouver. At 18 years of age Scott moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. It was there that he had the opportunity to study with some of the most respected instructors in the industry, among them Larry Moss, Ivana Chubbuck and Eric Morris. During his time in LA he honed his craft performing in over 50 plays, television shows, films and commercials. In 2005 Scott began teaching and founded The Actors Chapel. His classes were held at the infamous Zephyr Theatre in Los Angeles . In 2010, he returned to Vancouver to open his own studio. Since then he has gone on to develop his own method, which is based on, but not limited to, the techniques of his past instructors.
