This isn't just another deck of cards. The images on these cards are as close to the original as you can get them. I think it's important that we preserve this time in history in our memory, for it is impossible to learn from mistakes that one has forgotten. How can we expect anyone to remember us?

I am James Briggs and I have been a carpenter for most of my adult life. And I believe I have created something different now. As a carpenter I would never create something that was not intended to be used, and these cards are no exception.

The letters, numbers, and suits look as if they are carved from a wooden background. Little surprises are in store as you learn about some of the most beloved, as well as some of the most ruthless people of the American west. Many of the cards feature images in the upper right hand, indicating how the person in the photograph died.

I hope to begin doing something for a living that I simply love to do. I want to live a life where the fore thought moves to my family, instead of constantly worrying about finances and bills. There is no great master plan, this is who I am, and so this is what I do. The cards will be printed by The United States Playing Card Company. They already have the .tiff files and the tuck, and they are ready to create the cards once I have the funds. Aditionally I would like to purchase a 3D printer as well as to bring some of my other projects to life.
