We are reaching out with a heartfelt appeal to honor the memory of a remarkable woman — our beloved mother, aunt, sister, and grandmother, Hajja Shukria Al-Ashqar from Silwad, Palestine. Her life was one of generosity, faith, and service to others, and it is only fitting that her legacy lives on in a way that continues to bring blessings to those most in need.

In her name, we are launching a beautiful project: the construction of a masjid and a water well in a community that is struggling with limited access to both places of worship and clean water. This initiative is not only a tribute to Hajja Shukria’s life, but also a means of ongoing charity — Sadaqah Jariyah — that will continue to benefit others and bring her rewards in the Hereafter, Insha’Allah.

Why This Project Matters

In many parts of the world, people lack access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. Similarly, in underprivileged and remote areas, the absence of a local mosque deprives Muslims of a vital space to connect with Allah, pray in congregation, seek knowledge, and build community.

By helping build this masjid and water well, we are not just building structures — we are building hope. These efforts will directly serve a community in need, providing:

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them.”
This is our opportunity to contribute to all three — on behalf of Hajja Shukria.

صدقة جارية  للراحلة الحاجة شكرية الأشقر — بناء مسجد وبئر ماء لمجتمع محتاج

أعزاؤنا من العائلة والأصدقاء،

نخاطبكم اليوم بنداء من القلب لتكريم ذكرى امرأة عظيمة — أمنا، عمتنا، أختنا، وجدّتنا الحبيبة، الحاجة شكرية الأشقر من بلدة سلواد في فلسطين. كانت حياتها مليئة بالعطاء والإيمان وخدمة الآخرين، ومن المناسب أن يستمر إرثها في صورة عمل يجلب البركة والخير للمحتاجين.

وباسمها، نطلق مشروعًا جميلاً: بناء مسجد وبئر ماء في منطقة تعاني من قلة الأماكن المخصصة للعبادة وصعوبة الوصول إلى المياه النظيفة. هذا المشروع ليس فقط تخليدًا لذكرى الحاجة شكرية، بل هو أيضًا صدقة جارية تعود عليها بالأجر المستمر في الآخرة، بإذن الله.

لماذا هذا المشروع مهم؟

في العديد من مناطق العالم، يفتقر الناس إلى المياه النظيفة للشرب والطبخ والنظافة. وفي مناطق أخرى محرومة ونائية، يحرم المسلمون من وجود مسجد قريب يتيح لهم الصلاة جماعة، وطلب العلم، والتواصل الروحي والاجتماعي.

من خلال دعم بناء هذا المسجد والبئر، نحن لا نبني فقط مبانٍ — نحن نبني الأمل. وسيوفر هذا المشروع للمجتمع:

• مكانًا آمنًا ومتاحًا للصلاة والنمو الروحي

• مركزًا لتعليم القرآن الكريم والمعرفة الإسلامية

• مساحة تجمع تعزز روح الوحدة والدعم الاجتماعي

• ماءً نظيفًا وضروريًا للحياة — للشرب، النظافة، والزراعة

قال رسول الله ﷺ:
"إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، أو علم يُنتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له."
وهذه فرصتنا للمساهمة في الثلاثة، عن روح الحاجة شكرية.
