Hello.  We're the Friary Green Residents' Association, Acton, W3 and we're raising money to do battle on behalf of residents and tenants affected by the "regeneration" of the Friary Park estate. Some of the factors residents are concerned about include:

• the demolition of the 29 year-old estate & 229 homes to be replaced by 550 high-rise flats
• the environmental impact of the build in one of the highest polluted areas of London
• an increase of around 2,500 people in the immediate area
• high-rise towers planned, built next to semis and terraced homes
• impact on amenities such as schools, GP services, roads
• vulnerable single tenants are being moved off the estate, unable to return
• 172 private sales to overseas investors whilst there is no more social housing being built onsite
• the creep of tower blocks across the A40 into a residential area
• this build does NOT provide more much needed social housing

With a planning application for the regeneration imminent, we're crowdfunding to raise money for expert legal and planning assistance to help our cause.
