Newport Riptide - an Irvine select 8U baseball team hasn't added a story.

Our 9U Newport Riptide team is a made up of 11 baseball players from Orange County, CA playing with the Irvine Select Baseball League. We have a great group of kids and parents who are very excited for the upcoming season! The team is responsible for all costs associated with league registration, insurance, uniforms, coaches, fields, and tournaments. We are actively looking for sponsors willing to donate to our team as a way to offset some of the cost to our families. In exchange, we are offering marketing opportunities including a logo or name on our jerseys and/or team banner (to be hung at every league game and any tournament games), and prominent marketing at any fundraisers we run during the season from September through the end of June. Games will be played throughout Orange County and tournaments could extend beyond the OC area. 

 

While we are not a 501(c)3, according to IRS Revenue Procedure 70-393, any money donated to the team as a form of advertisement can be deducted as an advertising expense. Please consult your accountant to verify this for you/your business.
