Wheels4Paws is recognized mostly for transporting the fur babies from shelters to fosters, rescues and many times, furever homes. In 99% of these transports, everything works out the way the it is supposed to work out, the fur baby is safe. Occassionally, it just does not work out, there are problems, not a good fit, for whatever reason, and the fur baby has no where to go, other than back to their orginal pick-up, which was not good to begin with. This is where we step in, and give this baby a place to go, until we can secure rescue or an adopter. We have recently pulled a few fur babies from a kill shelter to prevent them from being euthanized and work to find them a furever home.
One such situation is now upon us, as we picked up this beautiful German Shepherd recently on a transport and delivered her to a foster to hopefully adopt home. Things are not working, so we are going back to pick this beautiful baby up tomorrow, and we will keep her safe until we can find her a rescue or an adoptive home.
We have the kennel panels to erect secure runs for Bella, and several other babies, if needed, but we need help with funding to be able to purchase the appropriate flooring-type of material, and possibly with leveling the ground. These kennels will also be used for temporary holding for babies that may need to be pulled and held for transport to be arranged.
