The Norsemen Booster Club is raising funds for the Westby Norsemen Athletic Complex. PHASE I has been completed with the construction of the press box and the donation of the scoreboard. Our goal now is PHASE II--Return the Lights to Friday Night.

Fellow Norsemen fans,

We’ve come a long way! A little over a year ago, the school board voted unanimously to move football games to school owned property. Plans were swiftly finalized for the construction of our spectacular new press box.  Along with the donation of a new scoreboard, our new athletic complex, “The Home of the Norsemen” became a reality.  We have heard many positive comments from people in the Westby, Coon Valley, and Chaseburg communities along with people from visiting teams who traveled here to play games.  There is great atmosphere as well as great potential at this new site.  Phase I is complete, but there is still more that needs to be done.

Our goal now is Phase II, Return the Lights to Friday Night.  Estimated cost of this phase of the project is $170,000.00.  While this seems like an impossible goal, we know we can reach it with donations large or small. Just think, if we have 170 people donate $1,000 or if 340 people gave $500, we can achieve this.  Please consider joining our efforts in Phase II, which will indeed return games to Friday night, as well as enhance our track events.

Maybe you wore a Norsemen jersey, maybe you marched in the half-time shows with the band, maybe you cheered from the sidelines.  Wouldn’t it have been great to cross the finish line of your race at home, under the lights?  Westby High School has a strong tradition of excellence.  Please help us light the way for future Norsemen athletes with a donation.
