In Situ Foundation is a 501(c)3 that trains dogs to detect early stage cancer in humans. They have been in the forefront of research since 2003, and are well established as the leading organization  in this field.

The goal of In Situ Foundation is to bring an early detection screening method which is low cost, non-invasive and highly accurate, to the public, as well as publish research. In Situ uses rescue dogs whenever possible in their training programs, and has trained many rescue dogs to detect cancer with great success.

In Situ has participated in federally funded, as well as privately funded studies, and is currently in collaboration with Duke University.

The In Situ dogs have been proven at 98% accurate in the early detection of human cancer in a published study.

We rescued two amazing German Shepherd Dogs, and they are already a part of the new team of detection dogs.
