A Sadaqah Jariyah in Memory of Amir Hamza
In loving memory of Amir Hamza — may Allah have mercy on him, forgive him, illuminate his grave, and grant him the highest level of Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
We are raising funds to build an artesian water well in Ghana as a Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) on behalf of Amir Hamza.
Access to clean water can transform an entire community. This well will, Insha’Allah, provide families and children with a reliable source of clean water for drinking, cooking, washing, and their daily needs.
Every person who drinks from this well, every child who carries water home, and every family that benefits from it is an opportunity for continuing reward for Amir Hamza, by the permission and mercy of Allah.
Allah ﷻ says:
“And We made from water every living thing.”
— Qur’an 21:30
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for
three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child
who prays for him.”
— Sahih Muslim
And when the Prophet ﷺ was asked which charity is best, he replied:
“Providing water.”
— Sunan Abu Dawud
