Help Us Build SMR Wellness Center: A Haven of Healing Through Animals

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are Tim and Heather, founders of Smooth Moves Ranch in North Mississippi. Since 2020, we’ve poured our hearts into building our family farm, which is home to Paso Fino horses, Dexter cattle, fainting goats, miniature donkeys, miniature horses, chickens, Mini Poms, and Mini Aussies.

Now, we’re taking the next step in our journey: transforming our current riding arena into a Therapy Center for SMR Wellness Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our Mission: Healing Through Animals

At SMR Wellness Center, we are dedicated to providing animal and equine-assisted therapy to individuals with physical and emotional challenges. Studies have shown that interaction with animals can have profound effects on those living with autism, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health struggles. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals can experience healing, connection, and personal growth through these incredible animals.

Bringing Smiles Beyond the Ranch

In addition to on-site therapy, we are launching a Nursing Home Travel Program, where we will bring our miniature donkeys, miniature horses, fainting goats, Mini Poms, and Mini Aussies to visit individuals in nursing homes. The joy, comfort, and companionship these animals provide are truly magical, and we are excited to bring that happiness to those who need it most.

Why We Need Your Help

For the past four years, Tim has worked tirelessly, building much of our ranch himself. However, due to ongoing health challenges, he can no longer take on the demanding physical labor needed to complete this project. To make SMR Wellness Center a reality, we need to hire contractors to construct the Therapy Center and finalize the space where healing and transformation can take place.

We believe deeply that this is our calling and trust in God's plan as we work toward this mission. We are incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support we have received from our family, friends, and social media community. Now, we are asking for your help to take the next step.

How You Can Make a Difference

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations will go directly toward:
✅ Building the Therapy Center to provide equine and animal-assisted therapy
✅ Launching the Nursing Home Travel Program to bring joy and comfort to residents
