My Dearest Friends, Family and Neighbors,

For the past year or so, I have been spending time with people in our community that are truly hurting.  I have been handing out much needed items to people in desperate situations and living in conditions that many of us cannot fathom.   With so many in our community homeless and hurting, it is time to take a stand.

On Monday, I will be signing a lease on a building to open a soup kitchen in Havelock, where the need is constantly growing but never met.  The goal would be to provide a hot meal at no charge to people in need AT LEAST 2-3 days per week.  I am calling on my friends, family and community for support to get it off the ground as quickly as possible.   I am working with MULTIPLE food pantries in the area including Loving Our Neighbors of Harlowe, Hope Mission, Martha's Mission and  many others; food is COVERED.  If you feel led to donate, that money would be used toward the initial remodel and stocking of the blank space so we can begin serving meals right away with the hopes of completing a $40,000 commercial kitchen installation by the end of the year.  I know the Lord will provide and many hands make light work.  We are also accepting donations of the following items:
