Hi friends! My name is Amy and I am the Usborne Books & More (UBAM) consultant who is helping Cindy throw this *Book Drive* for the children at the Ronald McDonald house in Winfield, IL. We are delighted at your interest in helping us bring joy to these deserving kiddos!
The Ronald McDonald House in Winfield, IL (near Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital) is a home-away-from-home for families who have a family member undergoing medical treatment at the local hospital. Their goal is to make it feel like more than a place to stay - but a sanctuary for the families to come home to after some of their toughest days.
Cindy and I are determined to brighten the days of these children & families during their stay at the Ronald McDonald House, and we are hoping you will help us do that by participating in our book drive! Usborne Books & More has an amazing program where after $250 has been raised (in book orders OR donations that will be applied towards purchasing books), UBAM will match half of the donations in the form of books!
If you would be so kind as to help us, your donation of $25 would go directly to sponsor one child! Each sponsored child will receive a book, activity, flashlight (for our amazing Shine-A-Light books!) and/or plush - helloooo adorable Cuddle Bear! With UBAM's match, any $50 donation would directly lead to THREE children receiving one of these amazing bundles! Any amount helps!
