Greetings and salutations to all who hear my cry for help.

My name is Debora, I am only 32 years old. A mother of two who love me as much as I love them. I was a successful track runner in school with many awards and accommodations too. I have a love for music and dance. I even ventured into singing and I would love you to her my songs I wrote and the beautiful voice I was blessed with. I used to work for the New York State Department of Elections in New York city, then I got sick. I couldn't work and I was forced to take a leave of absence of which I never returned.

Now I am facing a medical condition that has stripped away my youth, vitality and is now after my life. I want to live and I won't stop fighting to live. God gave me a beautiful life, family, husband and children. Now I am quickly being taken away from them and I'm not quitting on them. I have learned there is hope for me in a treatment in California and my time is running out:

Shortly after attending my grandmother's funeral in January 2019, I was diagnosed with a condition that is attacking my central nervous system. Leaving me bed bound, and 100% dependent on my family, and it's a lot, it's hard and it's frustrating to say the least. And now I am fighting for my life. I believe I can beat this. My motor functions are limited but my faith, my spirit and my hope is strong. This condition is aggressive and left me with only the ability to speak.

I want to live, I am going to live, I will walk my kids to school again, I will hug my children back when they hug me. I will walk again while holding my husband's hands too. The doctors say my options are quite limited and they are so expensive. Sadly my insurance is just not enough to help me.

The good news is I have  found hope in a unique treatment in California, but I am currently living in NYC. The first medical treatment is approximately $16,000. And the medical transport flight is explained from a recent email I received word for word:

The One-Way price for the air ambulance transport on a Learjet L35  dedicated air ambulance aircraft is $33,885.00  dollars, estimated patient's flight time is 5:30  hours, which will require one fuel stop. However, the price on a Round-Trip flight with less than 24-hour wait will be $49,985.00 dollars. If the wait is more than 24-hours, then the price is $33,885.00 dollars each way. This investment includes the following:
- Dedicated air ambulance aircraft transfer
- Certified medical equipment and a stretcher on board
- Two certified medical attendant on board (i.e. a registered nurse and/or paramedic)
- One or two family member/companion to accompany patient on the flight
- Ground transportation at both ends of the flight

So, I have turned in faith to our friends, family and neighbors and people like you, who are reading this here and now, please, every dollar counts, and every dollar you send will be put towards my journey to recover and beat this.

Please help me defeat this condition, I want to live, I have so many dreams and desires and I desperately need everyone's help. I humble myself to everyone. And if I could get on my knees, I would when I ask, "Please help me beat this."

What that means is every donation is in fact tax deductible. Money, medical equipment, transportation etc. I have accepted the help of Iglesia de Dios en Cristo La Senda to manage everything for me. As one of their members, I put my confidence in them to see to it I receive all that is offered.

My situation also includes but is not limited to this: I have an older SUV that's now useless to me because is not handicap friendly. I can't drive it, I can not even get into it anymore. The wheel chair the insurance sent me after months of requests is absolutely useless to me as it was never designed for someone with my condition. I was lent another one which I am grateful but I am just too tall for it. I need a real wheelchair. I desperately need of a special vehicle for my medical appointments, taking the kids to school and just to go out and feel the sun on my face again. I need a dedicated hospital bed for my condition as I am currently sleeping on a regular recliner chair. And it is not even close to comfortable. Because that's all I have. I require a special diet because I can no longer eat like anyone else and no longer feed myself, clothe myself and I require assistance for everything. And to make matters worse, the house I live in has gone into foreclosure and may be sold without warning thus losing my home too. There is no ramp, I'm stuck on the second floor and even with all this, I have not lost hope. And I won't lose hope either. I believe I can defeat this, but I need help.

Please, please please help me to help myself. I want to live, I want to go out and smell the fresh air and feel the sun on my face again.

God knows I am confident that their are people out there who want to help me, who can help me, and who will help me. You will make a real and direct difference in the quality of my life. Please, this is your chance to help me, a young mother fighting for her life. There is no coincidence, if you are reading this, it was meant for you to see it. Please help me help myself. My life literary depends on the kindness and generosity of others.

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 

Therefore, on my knees, I am asking you, I'm begging you, please help me save my life, I promise you, my life is worth saving...
