6 years ago, our personal storage space became what you have all learned to be the SOS Cat Rescue and Shelter. A shell of a second story of a barn style garage, evolved into the home, shelter, and safe haven of over 500 cats over the years. Up and down 28 steps, myself and my volunteers have hauled countless pounds of litter, food, gallons of water, and cats to tend to the residents waiting for homes!!!

Last year we started the construction of a brand new shelter with hopes of it to be up and running by now, new property, one floor, a dream come true. Unfortunately my health, and extended hospital stay, with major recovery time has set us way back, both timewise and financially. The exterior is finished! What a beauty of a building....the interior has come to a bit of a stall, only because to save us considerable money we are doing the work ourselves, and by that I mean my husband, Dave and myself. The two of us are working countless hours to pull this crazy dream and passion of mine together.

Time is ticking, with the scheduled shelter move date of September 1st. Yikes! We are deligently working to have 2 (free roam) of the 5 rooms completely finished for the move, but will need donations to continue the completion of the east side of the shelter, and the 3 additional rooms, (a kitten nursery, isolation room and 3rd free roam room). 

Therefore our need for materials!
