We’re raising a minimum of $10,000 over the month of December to ensure Summertime continues to sparkle and grow! Help us guarantee Summertime remains an inclusive, joyous, dazzling and innovative institution in New York and beyond for years to come.
We opened Summertime 5 years ago to fill a dire need, a multipurpose creative space that prioritizes artists with disabilities without sequestering their creativity off from the larger art world. Day in and day out we get to support artists with rigor and joy, thus forging a more inclusive art world. We have made big strides to revolutionize the art world by breaking down the barriers that have made “outsiders” out of artists with disabilities. It has been our honor to work with artists that are creating some of the most dynamic and thrilling work of our current moment. Hallelujah!
