Due to inflation and being a new business, earlier this year we did not have access to traditional financial products to keep us afloat and to help us improve our situation, we could only access high-interest business loans and advances that are on the market. 

These loans and advances pushed us into worse situations than we had intended to the point where our revenue was only going towards making these payments and not to operational costs or inventory.

Many of you (our customers) have noticed the lack of products on our shelves and our website fo the past few months, this is the reason why.

While we have been trying to obtain a consolidation loan to get us out of this vicious cycle, the lending world has not been favourable to us due to us being a newer business and having less sales due to the lack of inventory.

If you know us you know that Brian and I (Logan) have put our hearts and souls into our store, we have made it as accepting as possible to everyone from all walks of life- vegan/vegetarian/ traditional, straight/gay/transgender/non-binary, you could feel welcomed when you came into our store.

We put on Chilliwack's first-ever vegan festival on our anniversary this year, bringing hundreds of people to our community and supporting many local businesses downtown as well as the local vendors in attendance, we support numerous animal sanctuaries and have donated products or gift baskets to several different charities and non-profits local to Chilliwack and Vancouver. 

We have been working on our kitchen in the back of the store for the last several months, hoping it would be ready before we got into a financial crunch that we are now I'm to bring in new business and make plant-based living more accessible in Chilliwack. 

We are close as we are now working with Fraser Health to get the approvals we need to open it up, however due to our financial situation, the kitchen may never open.

We are late/behind in several bills with vendors and need assistance to move us forward so we don't lose this beautiful little store that we have worked so hard to build. 

The 100K isn't our total owing in loans, vendors and bills but it is enough to help us pay off some our loans all together and bring in more inventory to help us continue along. 

We have supported other small businesses local to Chilliwack and British Columbia, we are active members of our community- we are just asking for the chance to continue serving all of you.
