Make a Difference With Music

Can you help our children? CVS PTA is fundraising for new musical instruments for the students at Caddington Village School. In covid times, class sets of instruments must be quarantined between bubbles. This means that they cannot be used as often as needed and we want to ensure that none of the children will miss out. Besides being loads of fun, music education has numerous educational benefits such as:

Enhancing dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Expanding listening skills
Improving mathematical skills through learning quarter, half and whole notes
Nurturing creativity
Advancing memorisation skills
Enhancing knowledge of music and culture

Music also allows students to develop confidence and self-esteem. Now more than ever students will really benefit from immersing themselves in something that is fulfilling and calming.

Our fundraising goal is £1500 which would be enough to cover a wonderful range of exciting instruments for the children.
