We need your support...

Hello and thank you for taking the time to view our campaign.  Capt. Ryan Beaupre was the first U.S. Marine from the State of Illinois to fall on 21 March 2003 during the initial stages of "Operation Iraqi Freedom".  The Marine Vets MC - Capt. Ryan Beaupre Chapter is a registered 501 (C) 3 not profit organization that is engaged in supporting many local Veteran Programs.  These events range from escorts to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Welcome Home escorts, Manteno Veterans Home to include Fishing with the Vets 2x a year, Floating for Freedom, and Bingo events.  Wreathes Across America, Special Olympics of Illinois, Darkhorse Lodge, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Run for the Fallen and various VFW, Marine Corps League and American Legion events.  Of course these listed are only a sampling of the many events that the Capt. Ryan Beaupre Chapter participates in.

Over the course of the last several years, the chapter usually bounces around and attends meetings at different locations and even some members houses.  We have always felt that if the situation ever presented itself to us, that we would try and find a location to call home.  Having one location to serve as a Rally Point for members to convene and set off on their missions for the day will provide a logistical benefit.  It will also give the Marine Veterans a location to gather, share our Esprit De Corps, and share the camaraderie and brotherhood that these Veterans have shared while serving on Active Duty.  On many occasions, that gathering and camaraderie can save Veterans from being part of a continuing and growing statistic.

Just recently we have been presented with the opportunity to acquire a location to call home.  This location is complete with property and a building.  Each year, the funds we raise are contributed to the many organizations that are listed above.  This is the reason why we are asking for your help.  Any funding that we can obtain through this campaign, will be used toward the purchase of a property and building, renovations, and everything else related to building purchases.

 This is not an easy task.  We understand that with the current World status, funding may be limited.  Any amount will help us get that much closer to accomplishing this mission.  We also ask that you please share this and forward this campaign to as many contacts and friends that you can.   Spreading this campaign is the only way we can realistically meet our objective.
