We are RUN FOR YOUR DREAM team and we are uniting people all over the world to help fundraise money for BeU charitable foundation. 15th of May 2016 our team members will run distances from 10K to a Marathon in several cities of Europe, including Riga, Moscow and Helsinki, to celebrate life and to share our love and attention with the Heroes of BeU foundation.
BeU [be you] is a social platform for helping people with disabilities to develop their personal potential and to be active with their mind and soul.
BeU’s supporting tools are:
• cooperation with volunteers’ teams;
• managing events and activities to unlock people's potential, their wishes and goals; leading them to their goals and dreams and socialization;
• projects, involving people with disabilities;
• Charity (management and organization of events and activities to raise finances and other kinds of support for our wards (people under our care));
• collaboration with different health care institutions of Tallinn, Moscow, St. Petersburg, New-York.
—
BeU calls people under its support – Heroes, for their courage facing the challenges life brings and for inspiration they share with everyone around them.
BeU’s Heroes are:
Kate Cochran, 9 years old
Kate has Neurofibromatosis type 1. She has the disease since she was born. Kate likes riding a bike, spending time playing outside, she adores playing with dolls, going to school and she loves cheerleading. Kate has constant headaches and other disease symptoms but she never complains, she never lets them define her! She is wonderful, full of life and she is our little hero!
Raised money will help Kate’s family to pay for biannual MRI appointments and annual orthopedic, human genetics, neurologist, ophthalmologist appointments, occupational and physical therapy appointments, SMO orthotics.
Mitya Kravchenko, 9 years old
Mitya lives in Kostroma, small Russian town. When he was 5 years old he fell from a push-bicycle and broke his hip, after a half of a year he broke the same leg again. He had 5 fractures when he was diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfect. It means that his bones are very fragile – he shouldn’t fall at all, because every damage he gets may become a very serious issue for his health. He’s always wearing special shoes and needs to be held by hand at school, at the street, everywhere he goes.
Besides those facts, Mitya is just a boy who loves football and roller skating so much and who dreams to be a part of those games one day. He loves joking and laughing, he knows so many funny stories. Mitya plays chess with the couch at home, he goes to a swimming pool and plays guitar.
Raised money will help Mitya’s family to pay for education in special school and special classes, and to hire a babysitter.
Svetlana Glazova, 46 years old
Svetlana was born in Tallinn, Estonia. Svetlana has lost an ability to move due to doctors’ negligence in 2009.
In December 2008 Svetlana felt strong pain in her legs and back and was hospitalized. After four months at the hospital with a lung motor, she had a surgery on her tail bone, but it didn’t give any positive results. The right diagnosis wasn’t found. She was told she would never be able to walk again.
Svetlana started feeling better and the hope of walking again came back, thanks to the rehabilitation neurologic Center in Haapsalu, Estonia, where procedures and care of doctors made a miracle. Unfortunately, it became impossible for Svetlana’s family to pay for the procedures any longer. At the present moment Svetlana is staying at a hospice, among the dying, elderly people. Despite the difficulties she faces, Svetlana is full of belief and she inspires people around.
Several years ago Svetlana took part in competitions and exhibitions with her dogs and horses, getting the first places, meeting new people, traveling a lot. Svetlana’s kids were sharing the wins and were inspired for the new actions and activities. Now she dreams to come back to her family and life full of joy and brilliant ideas.
Raised money will help Svetlana to pay for medicines and doctors monthly, as well as for regular sessions with physiatrist, which helps her to start walking again.
We invite you to contribute
Please help BeU foundation to bring true meaning and new possibilities to Kate, Mitya and Svetlana's lives. We need your support to help them recover and rebuild healthy, joyful life – simple thing, which we all have right to have and to treasure. Together we can make the world a better place!
Each contribution really matters. Thank you!

Инструменты фонда BeU:
• содействие работе волонтёрских групп;
• проведение мероприятий по раскрытию потенциала людей, их желаний; ведение к целям и социализации;
• проекты с вовлечением людей с ограниченными возможностями;
