RE:Ukraine initiative of Ukrainian Canadian Congress (Toronto) is asking you to help the Isayev family.

What: We are collecting $5,000 to help the Isayev family. In addition to their two children, the Isayevs are raising nine adopted HIV positive kids who need your help to purchase medicine, warm clothes and necessities.

Why: The story of Isayev family is rather unique for Ukraine. Despite the economic hardship people face in modern Ukraine, Isaev family has adopted 9 HIV positive kids into their home. Never minding a strong social stigma that surrounds HIV positive people in Ukrainian society, the Isayevs are supporting their kids, proving that we all deserve and in fact can obtain a real family.

Recent military conflict has added their many hardships. As a result of the war, the Isaev family had to leave Southern Ukraine, and is now seeking refuge in Kyiv region.

When: warm clothes, shoes and necessities will be delivered to children on behalf of St Nicholas on December 19th.
